Ascolta e Vivi Onlus

Ascolta e Vivi Onlus is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit organisation. Its only end is to provide aid and assistance to people with hearing problems, either in need or otherwise socially disadvantaged.

In particular, Ascolta e Vivi Onlus focuses on:

Fighting deafness by promoting its prevention, diagnosis and treatment through prosthesis and hearing aids

Studying sound pollution and methods to prevent it, both technical and educational

Increasing public awareness on issues connected with deafness

DISTANCE TRAINING COURSE (F.A.D.):
Discover the new course about hearing disability.

The new project uses new computer technologies available, such as an mp3 player and especially the iPod.

For everyone there will be a tutor available from the Association.

FEBRUARY 2008: "Information on hearing and hearing protection" PROJECT
The project continues.

FEBRUARY 2008: PROJECT BIELORUSSIA - Zhdanovichi
Three new volounteers visit the school in Zhdanovici in February.

FEBRUARY 2008: PROJECT CAMERUN
DECEMBER 2007:
Delivered to Sister R. M. 73 new prosthesis.
In February 2008 a technician verifies with the local teachers the skills reached in applying prosthesis.

FEBRUARY 2008: PROJECT LADAKH
Supply of diagnostic strumentation with A.B.R and O.A.E. completed.
The infantile screening is started.

FEBRUARY 2008: PROJECT NEPAL
Hard Earmould production technique introduced.

FEBRUARY 2008: PROJECT BIELORUSSIA - Kobrin
The collaboration with the Kobrin Institute is ended because the desired goals have been achieved.

FEBRUARY 2008: PROJECT KENYA
Activities with new workers for deafness rehabilitation techniques.
